The university of florida is an outstanding school. Its 2,000 acre land sits in Gainsville, Florida and was founded in 1853. Its main colors orange and blue blend perfectly behind their amazing mascott. Their mascott is fierce determined steathlthy and strong. It is the amazing ALLIGATOR

Their sports teams are great too thier basketball and football teams won the championship in the year 2006. But one of the most exciting games are the Florida Gators vsThe Florida state seminoles. Now picture this, a game neck in neck people screaming and cheering across the nation as the watch the title for Floridas best team unfold before their very eyes. In the end their can be only one winner(which is usaly the gators). The gator team now has a hiesman award winner and he is the head quarterback of the team he is Tim Tebow. I look up to tebow because I myself play football and tebow puts god before everything. I find that great. He is just a good old southern boy The gators basket ball team also won the championship in the year 2006 and that was their second championship in a row. Now its 2008 and its probably Tebows last year. :{ But I know he will go and do great things in profesional football. So good luck in your future years Tebow.

This University is getting harder and harder to get into from what I can understand. So you kids that are reading this do great in school and give every thing your best shot. Don't let anyone keep you from doing your best, just ignore them and if they call you names like "nerd" Just erase them from your memory because you are the one who will have a very sucsesful life. Keep your eye on the prize at all times so dont get in fights or any of that pointless stuff because it will hurt you in two ways physically and educationally.

Now the University of Florida is one of the oldest,most diverse, and comprehensive Universitys in the U.S.A. Thats a few of the reasons why its hard to get in. I mean this university went WW2, the great depression and much much more. I myself hope to end up in this college but that dream is closing in on me so I'm pushing harder and harder to getin. Many people who have gone to this University are probably succeding in life. You Know nice house, decent car, and a good family. So it makes the world a better place and we need that especialy with the whole "Global Warming" thing.
